I am still evaluating the Starter version. I have now exceeded the 10 submissions, but when I submit further payment requests, the e-mail comes through to me but not back to the person making the request.
Is this what is supposed to happen?

I checked your form and two Notifiers are going to you and one Autoresponder is going to the submitter.
If the payment was completed the submission email should go to submitter's email address as well.
If the payment wasn't completed it will show as Incomplete as you can check as well in your submissions page:
