How do I access the key or get a new one - I need to open a form.

I assume you're referring to the encryption key, is this correct?

Please note that the encryption key should be stored on your default downloads folder, at least that you have moved it to another folder on your computer. Generating a new key will only work for the new submissions and previous ones will still require the old key.

This link will help you finding the key in case it's still stored on the default folder, you will also find more details about how encryption works: https://www.jotform.com/help/344-Encrypted-Forms-and-How-to-Use-Them#Where-Can-I-Find-the-Private-Key-After-Downloading-It

    I hope this helps.

Thank you for your swift reply. The problem - as I thought - was that my Mac wouldn’t open the ‘key’ file download, containing the encryption key, that I transferred from my PC. BUT, when I just tried to upload the key file online to Jotform…it worked straight away!
I have bad memories of things not transferring well between PCs and Macs, but this has worked perfectly.
    Thanks again for your response.
    Best wishes, Fran
