how can i setup jotform to allow users to add products to stock and extract when something is used.

The users can only extract products, they can not add them. This can be archived with Inventory widget.

How to Add a Widget to your Form?

Maybe you can integrate your form with the Google spreadsheet and then integrate the same sheet in the form. This way our users will be able to see the current number of products.

You will also need one field to add products and another field to extract products. The current number of available products will have to be calculated inside of the spreadsheet. However, editing of the Google spreadsheet integration to perform a calculation may break the integration, so I am not sure if this will work.

How to Integrate Form with Google Spreadsheet

You can embed Google Spreadsheet using the Iframe Embed widget.

If think of any other way how this can be done I will let you know.

     Thanks for your response.

But this is to much effort for the user i think.

I need something simple for ppl to update a stock value and create a shopping list based on the stock value.

Maybe this can not be done in Jotform as i thought, so i might need to look elsewhere.

Like what my colleague, BJoanna, have mentioned, you, as the form owner, only has the ability to update/modify the stocks (items) listed in the Inventory Widget.

We have our User-Contributed widgets. However, although it allows users to add options to those widgets, removing the options from the list is still done by the owner of the form from the form builder page.

We understand your requirements and we would like to apologize if there is nothing that we can offer to meet them.
