Multiple file upload - file attachmentsAsked by kyle on September 06, 2012 at 08:14 PM
So im having a huge issue that is a deal breaker for using your service if i can't figure out a solution for my client, but i really like jotform.
I created a form for them that has the multiple file upload at the bottom. So it works great, but once they recieve all the files there is no way for them to download all the attachments at once.
This client will have about 100 people emailing attachments everyday, each with multiple photos. If they had to click every single photo link then it just wouldnt work.
Is there any solution?
If not can i hire to create this solution?
Unfortunately, there isnt a way to roll up multiple uploads in one package that someone could download.
Would it not be possible to ask form users to zip up the files that they want to upload and then to upload the zip archive?
we could ask them that, but were dealing with contractors here who are most likely computer illiterate. I was excited that there was a file size maximum, but this kills it because of how many times my client would have to click to download each day alone.
Is there not a way to have them send like normal attachments? like if i sent my friend 3 emails, yahoo gives me the option to download all at once ya know?
can i pay you to have this done?
or are you aware of a third party file uploader that could integrate somehow with your forms?
This one touts its integration ability http://codecanyon.net/item/ajax-multi-upload-for-wordpress/144658
We have recently added filepicker.io integration -> http://www.jotform.com/blog/61-Filepicker-io-JotForm-Let-Your-Users-Upload-Files-From-the-Cloud
But, I am not sure if it will meet your particular needs.
@seaserpent, your question will be addressed on this thread to give you better support.
We are pleased to inform you that you can now have the file uploads as attachments in your email alerts. You can learn more about it on this blog post https://www.jotform.com/blog/223-New-Feature-Get-Uploaded-Files-as-Email-Attachments
We hope you will like it.
