Can you please provide more details of what you're trying to achieve?

To my understanding, you have 3 kinds of users.

    User 1:

    User 2:

    User 3:

Are they going to edit one submission?

You can enable the Send on Edit of the notification email. You can track the time and date whenever you receive the notification email of the edited submission.

You can also add a hidden Date/Time field on your form and set it to "Current Date/Time". See image below:

Basically, you want to keep the original submission date?

What you can do is to pass the date field value to another date field, which should have a NONE default date, through conditions: https://www.jotform.com/help/268-How-to-Insert-Text-or-Mathematical-Calculation-into-a-Field-Using-a-Condition

    1508454930defaultdatenone Screenshot 10

First you would need to add the Get Form Page URL widget:

    05 07 2017 1494158325 Screenshot 21

Then, create a condition like this:

"Basically, you want to keep the original submission date?"

I wanna to keep the date/time when Fornecedor submit the form.
Also, I wanna to keep the date/time when Compras submit the form.
Also, the same thing for Marketing and Celula.

    For example:
Fornecedor will submit at 8h30 in 10/20
Compras will receive and submit at 9h30 at 10/20
Marketing will receive and submit at 8h at 10/21
Celula will receive and submit at 14h at 10/21

I wanna record the time and date for each user

Unfortunately, this is not possible on the Edit Submission feature. Once you edited the form data, the Submission will be updated as well. It means that when you update the Name and the Date/Time then the previous submission data will be replaced with a new one.

You're correct, you will need a separate field for each user to track it properly.

    I hope this information helps.

I really need to record the date/time. Are you sure it is impossible to do that?

When I download the answers in the Excel it has this information. Maybe a field that record each part of the form it is the answer.

Or something if the calculate condition. Can I stop the calculation? For example I copy the field Date today and tomorrow its stops to copying.

What you are trying to accomplish is complex, the only option would be adding a Date field for each department, and having the user to manually input the date and time when submitting the form.

This need to be automatically. I need a field that record the date/time when you send the form, is it complex? I have no ideia, sorry if I were rude with "is it complex?"

We really want to help you, however, our date time submission feature updates each time the form gets re-submitted through the edit link. And we do not have a specific feature that automatically records the "date and time" each time a submission gets re-submitted.

is it hard to create date/time for Edit Link Submission? Or to have a condition to active a field?

Let me try to create a workaround for this issue. I will contact you again on this thread once I am done with the demo form.

    Thank you.

    Sorry for the delay.

    Here's the demo form (Workaround)https://form.jotform.com/72924640728967

To test the demo form, please clone it by following this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

In the demo form, I added the Configurable List widget to record the edit logs. Here's a screen animation sample:

Here's the final submission looks like:

But for that the user needs to fill the field, I need it to be automatically

Unfortunately, it's not possible to automatically fill the Configurable List widget (used on my colleague's example).

Also, please note that the data is saved when the submit button is changed, so far there is not  way to have a date picker or another field to automatically change its value (which would help yo know the last edit date).

Currently, you will need to use the workaround provided by my colleague and ask your users to fill the last edit logs, JotForm does not save the submissions edit logs either.

Can you talk with the developers if it is hard to create this field? I think for some people it is important to record the date and time when the form was submit (even in Edit Link)
