I have two forms that are showing new forms or some kind of notification, but when I click I cannot see what is new.
I also have a form that I had come through on my email, but it is not showing up when I log on.

I think you mean new submissions.
You can check those number in red above means the number of submissions you haven't checked/see.
You can check your submissions by clicking the form then click "Submissions"

And for Mite Fest, I got an email saying I had a submission, but there isn't anything when I login.

I would recommend you to check the email history on your account so you know the form and submission IDs: https://www.jotform.com/help/293-How-to-View-All-Your-Form-Email-History
Then search for the submission Id on the submissions page of your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/450-How-to-Search-a-Submission-from-the-Submissions-Page
I can also see some submissions were recently deleted, you can check this on your submissions page too by following this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/370-How-to-View-Your-Account-Activity-Logs
