now that is bl**dy frustrating jotform....

spent hours on a form, worked in offline mode for hours tweaking it...

online again, hang on someting is missing..

view form and all i get is

    -form is in restore mode-

and now most parts of the form are gone - hours of work wasted!!!!!

This doesnt give me much faith in a form that is going to be live online and critical that I dont agrivate the people trying to fill it out - and those dealing with the responses.

search forum to find out account maybe deactivated?

    WTF

We apologize for the inconvenience, I understand how frustrating it can be when you lose the work that has taken you many hours.

I have checked your account and found out that it has been in a dormant status. It appears like you had not been using it in awhile. That is the reason of the error you got. We have activated it again.

Please check if the edits were saved in the revision history: https://www.jotform.com/help/294-How-to-View-Form-Revision-History, if they are not there, unfortunately, there is no much we can do about it.

    Hi Bdavid,

thanks for your prompt response - jotform is excelling in this area...

too late for the history - started all over again...

Looking through the forums, this happens a LOT...

is it a possibility that jotform could put a message up saying your account has been deactivated, and get it reactivated *before* all the frustration, and needless waste?

    like...

"welcome back - we havent seen you around here in a while, contact us to re-activate your account - or signup again"

There are a lot of competitors out there, and this may be a good customer retention thing...

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience that has caused to you. Thank you very much for the idea. I am escalating this idea to our developers as a feature request. If we implement it, you'll be informed via this support thread.

On the other hand, your second question will be handled in this support thread: How do we get notified when a reply had been made on the forum?
