How to Shorten Submission ID?

    Any idea if its possible to shorten the length of the submission ID. I want to use it to ID a particular form but its current quite long and was wondering if i could make it shorter. OR. can i have a random number field that i can use instead?

    If you are referring the submission ID column on your submission page, it is not possible to shorten it since they are generated automatically. 

    On the other hand, if you want to use something shorter than submission ID and unique for each submission, I can suggest you to have a look at the Unique ID widget. It can be the perfect match with your requirement.
