I recently had a submission however, his information was not uploaded into a drive folder via the 3rd party integration we have, although ones before and since have worked fine.
Please offer some insight as to why this could have happened, thank you!

I'm not sure why your submission failed to upload to Google Drive, we could try investigating that further but we would need the submission ID that failed. Also, you said "3rd party integration", just to double check, you're referring only to built-in Google Drive integration that we have?

For some reason it didn't come through to the folder, but when I searched
the specific file, google drive found it in the folder although, it was
