Can I prepopulate fields using data from another JotForm?

Asked by bajahoedt on September 11, 2012 at 09:20 AM

Here is what I'd like to do: after submitting limited information (3 questions) through a small embedded form on my homepage users should go to an extended Jotform (seperate URL) and use the values populated before and add additional information. I am pretty sure I can do this using the prepopulation feature mentioned in the FAQ. But how can I identify the fields from the initial JotForm?

You can identify the fields by opening your email notification feature.  When you click on one of these form field, ou should see the field name populate on the notification area.  You can then copy and use that field name for the prepopulating purposes that you have described.
