As soon as question is selected, background color changes.

On the drop down menu of the form I created the bar turns a yellow hugh....and the font words are lost because it's so bright.  How do I get it to be the grayish color of the form?

The issue is caused because of the highlighting effect of form is enabled. To solve this problem, I would suggest you to disable highlighting effect of from. Please check the screenshot below on how to disable highlighting effect:
