I lost encryption key. How to recover old encrypted submissions?

    Hello,

For some reason a form I created was encrypted. I never set it up this way, or didn't do so on purpose, so I never got a 'key' to view them. I worked out how to turn the encryption off, but the 3 submissions we've received are completely jumbled and we cannot read anything. Which is a big problem as we need to be able to read all the answers (including contact details) on these submissions. Are you able to please help me fix this?

When you enable encryption in your form, encryption key file is downloaded. Please note that we do not save encryption key on our server. If you have lost the encryption key, unfortunately is it not possible to recover your encrypted submission data.

Please note that the key file is downloaded in "Downloads" folder of your computer. If you have not deleted the file, it should still be there in your computer. I would suggest you to please take a look at the following guide on how to locate the downloaded key file:  https://www.jotform.com/help/344-Encrypted-Forms-and-How-to-Use-Them#Where-Can-I-Find-the-Private-Key-After-Downloading-It

    Hope this helps.
