Submitting an empty embedded source code form with required inputs redirects to captcha page

Asked by CDMjarred on September 12, 2012 at 11:20 AM

I created a PHP file with the embeded source code that is provided by jotform but when I click submit on an empty form it instantly redirects to:

    http://submit.jotform.us/submit/xxxxxxxxxxxx/

The form is set up with required fields but this just bypasses all of it and links to the link above.

It doesn't have this issue when I just use the single line java script embed option.

Any reason why this happens, or how I can fix it?

Interesting, this script was causing the issue:

    <script src="../scripts/mootools.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

Aparently it's for a gallery we use, I removed it from the page and it's working fine now.

The two scripts, JotForm and that script might be conflicting that's why the form doesn't function properly. Using iframe embed code should help. Here's How to get your Form Source Code

But, I think you were able to sort it out. Is everything working fine by now?

Boss doesn't want iFrames, but I did get it sorted out. Thank you for the reply.
