How can I have my employees edit submissions?

    Hello,

I was wondering if you have the following feature:

We need our employees to use your platform for an internal form of checklist, meaning to upload and save documents, as well as checking a box to verify they actually did all the necessary steps.

My question is - is there an option where employees can use your platform, check boxes we create, and upload files - *while NOT* submitting the form?

My actual question is whether employees can upload docs and insert info while not submitting it (or - can they edit the document if they have submitted it?)

Will the work and the content be saved or not? This is since the work contains several steps, and thus requires them to go back and forth, clicking they did do one task, for instance, then go back to the file and update it again. Is there an option to do so?

I hope that my question is clear.

Thanks so much for your time.

Hello Iris - This isn't possible I'm afraid. Submission Data will only be saved after clicking the SUBMIT button.

What you can do as an alternative is have your employees edit the submission and make changes to it based on your requirement.

Just like your visitors, once your employees are done editing the submission, they also have to click the SUBMIT button to save their changes.

Thanks so much Jim! I appreciate it!

If I understand correctly, this means that even if they did submit, they CAN edit the form AFTER submission. Right?

To respond to your question on behalf of Jim: Yes, they should be able to edit their submissions right after.

If you are going to use an autoresponder email (the emails that persons submitting the form receive), you can modify the settings of the autoresponder email alert to provide them an edit link in it so that after the submission, they can make edits to it.
