I put the I am not a robot captcha on my forms because we were getting some spam.
Why do some people always get asked to click the pictures? Almost everyone just has to click the check box. But a couple of people always have to do the test. Is there some setting or version of browser or whatever, that could be the problem?

Unfortunately there is no option to change what type of captcha google will give if you are using the "Google reCaptcha" widget.
They will check the user's browser cookies/visited sites before and will apply the type of captcha which is suitable to ensure that your form is secured.
You can also use our "Captcha" field which also has the option to enable Google's Recaptcha.
Here is a thread to understand better the difference of the two.

Hope that helps.
