    Contact Us Form formatting

Asked by schwarzi on February 01, 2011 at 11:34 PM

I have a couple of questions:

    1) How do I type a static subject line on an e-mail submission

    2) I need to shrink the size of the entire form -- not just the width because I can't see the submit button on my website.

    3) Since i have a free subscription, the number of responses I can receive is 100.  Is this cap cumulative, or once I delete my responses I start at zero?

Thank you so much.  You've made my life so much easier.

    Have a great day.

Please post separate unrelated questions on their own threads. If you do that, the forum would be useful for everybody. For example, you can make a request about email subjects and others who are interested in that topic can also join the discussion. If you send a list of many requests, the thread would only be useful for you and noone else. The only way we can continue providing free support for free users is if the forum is useful for all.

    1) How do I type a static subject line on an e-mail submission

To change email subject for a form:
    1. Open the form on the form editor
    2. Click on "Setup & Share" tab on the top toolbar
    3. Click on "Email Alerts"
    4. Click on "Notifications"
    5. Click "Subject" at the top and change it
    6. Finish and Save.

    2) I need to shrink the size of the entire form -- not just the width because I can't see the submit button on my website.

If you cannot see the submit button on your web site, that can have multiple reason:

if you are in iWeb: Increase the widget side

if you used iframe code: You must update the code on you site every time you make changes on your form.

    3) Since i have a free subscription, the number of responses I can receive is 100.  Is this cap cumulative, or once I delete my responses I start at zero?

No, you cannot delete submissions and have your monthly limit increased. You are allowed to 100 submissions per month.
