Cannot de-select originally selected item in the Appointment Slot widget when editing

I am wondering if anyone else experiences issues editing slots on the appointment widget?  The use case is:

Submit a form with one slot selected on the appointment widget

Use the link or go through the backend to edit the form, deselect the originally selected item and select another

The behavior I get is that now both items are selected.  It doesn't de-select the first item.  Does anyone have a fix for this? I'm ok going through the backend if possible and editing, I just don't know how to do that.

    Thanks!

I can't seem to replicate the issue, I was able to edit the choice on your Appointment widget.

I attached a GIF below from my test submission. At first, I selected the appointment Saturday 12-2pm "Guide"

Then after the submission I was able to receive the email notification and clicked the "Edit Submission" link. Then I change the selection from "Guide" to "Spanish Guide" then Submit.

I just cleared your form cache, can you please try it on your end and see if the issue is solved.

    Thank you.

Hi Marvih - There is still an issue for two specific situations, which unfortunately are common in my form.  These both occur when I try to change a request where the slot that I want to change from is currently full, including my current selection. As a FYI, I have the appointment widget set up so that a max of one selection for each time slot.

The two examples  are as follows:

Situation 1: I submit a request, then want to remove my selection for that time slot and not choose a new selection for that time slot

    1) I sign up for the last slot in an area, thus filling up the slots for that area (it will show as "FULL" once I submit my request)

    2) I get the email with link to edit

    3) I click on the link to edit and try to uncheck my original selection without checking another selection for that time slot

Expected result: My request is saved, the original selection is now un-selected and that time slot disappears from the email as I have no selection checked.  When I look at the requests, I don't see a value for that time slot

Actual result: the original selection stays checked and shows up in both the email and behind the scenes

Situation 2: I submit a request, then want to change my selection for that time slot.

    1) I sign up for the last slot in an area, thus filling up the slots for that area (it will show as "FULL" once I submit my request)

    2) I get the email with link to edit

    3) I click on the link to edit and uncheck my original selection and then choose a new selection in that time slot

Expected result: My request is saved, the original selection is now un-selected and I see the new selection for that time slot in the email. When I look at the requests, I see the new value for the time slot

Actual result: the original selection stays checked and the new selection is also checked.  This results in two values showing up in that time slot.  This shows in both the email and behind the scenes

I tried testing your form. And its not working at all for me. So I have escalated the issue to Level 2 support. They will investigate and post a response here on this thread.
