Can submit button take you to next page? I want to collect email addresses as part of the form? want to capture data but not sure how to build it in

If you prefer submitting the form then take you to the next page, that is not possible. There's a workaround by redirecting the user to a new form. To do that, please follow this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/38-Redirecting-Users-to-a-Different-Page
