Feature request: I need plain text email format for my CRM (Volusion)

    Hi,

I'm using Jotform on our Volusion website as a part of our CRM. When I view the submission in the CRM - it is in HTML (see attached).

Is there a step I'm missing on Jotform to make it so the submissions are received in plain text?  The emails that I get in my inbox look great, but I have to grab the info from my email, then reply in the CRM, and take place the order in another system. I'd like to remove the email component and just use the CRM.

I'm not sure if this is a Volusion issue or something I can manage within Jotform? Thank you!

Hello Linda - All emails triggered by your forms (whether it's the NOTIFICATION or the AUTORESPONDER) are HTML-based. You're not missing anything, we just don't offer a plain text email format.

As an alternative, we can raise a feature request so we can build an in-house integration with your CRM (Volusion). We just need further info on how you're expecting the integration to work.

As of now, most CRM platforms we integrate with work under the same premise - And that is to pass/send submission data to the CRM. Would this be the same end goal for your case? If not, kindly reply to this thread and further describe your workflow and how JotForm will play its part with Volusion.

    Hi Jim,
    Thank you for your reply.
I love the form and it works well. However, if it could pass the
submission form data to the CRM in plain text, that would be great. Within
the CRM, it's useless information because I have to glare through strings
of code to find the pertinent data.
Information comes into CRM. I catch the name of the person in the subject,
then go to either email or Jotform to read the information, then go back to
the CRM to respond. I'll take it if that's what we have to work with, but
it would be more efficient if I could read the data easily within Volusion.
I'm using JotForm because Volusion told me that they don't support file
upload and I require an image from our customers. I like your product,
    thank you.
    Kind regards,

    Dear Linda,

Thank you for your kind comments. I am escalating your request to our developers as a feature request. However, unfortunately, we aren't able to promise whether it implements. Our developers evaluate the request and implement according to demand. If we implement this request, you will be informed through this support thread.

Thank you very much for your contributions to Jotform.
