What Form Should I Use For Selling MP3's?

    Hello,

I sell custom gift songs in the form of mp3s and wave files. After the buyer purchases an mp3, I want to create a page that they can log on to so they can download their song. How can I create a secure page where each buyer can download their specific song without anyone else being able to download it? Do I have to have a separate page for each buyer or is there a way to navigate a buyer to a certain area on that form page where their song will be discreet?

    Thanks for your reply!

    Will

We have a number of templates that can be modified to do that.  Here is one that you can use.

In order to allow your user to download a file, you can have an autoresponder notification sent to the person with a download link once they have submitted all their information.  I believe that dropbox can allow you to store files and provides you download links, is easy to integrate with JotForm and may be an option that you can look into.

Hope this gives you a starting point!

Ok, I'll give that a try. As far as the autoresponder, I would have to disengage that because the song won't be ready for download till I create it. I would have to send the download link manually. Is that still possible with this setup?

Yes, I think JotForm can fulfill your requirements with regards to selling. Not sure about having secured download links though (which only the buyer can access).

Yes, I'm already using JotForm for everything else including the selling through PayPal. I just need an upload/download page for secure download links. I'm going to try the suggestion Eduardo gave me.

Ok, it seems what Eduardo gave me is a template form that will initiate the download link. I guess what I need is a host page to actually upload and download the mp3 files to and from. I may be looking at a site rather than a form for this. A site that will let me secure the links for each customer so others can only download their own songs.

You can also apply a payment integration called Paypal Pro, so the payer will pay via either paypal or credit card withought being redirected into the Paypal site

Once this is done,  you can setup an external link into the Thank you page to the download server you are talking about

Thanks Jeanette. I'm thinking about PayPal Pro when business picks up. I've decided on "You Send It" for the upload/download host. After I upload the purchased song, I can create a link from it and send it to the specific customer. Every customer will have a specific link that will be discreet and secure.
