Do I need an SSL Certificate on my site if I have a secure form?

Asked by northshoreweb on September 15, 2012 at 12:12 PM

If I have a secure form, do I need an SSL Certificiate for me site? I can load the site fine in Firefox/Chrome but check it in IE9 (https://www.tibait.com). I get an error message about the SSL being revoked. We use to have one but it proved unnecssary since we had a secure form. What do we do? Do we need to repurchase an SSL Certificate to fix this?

On possible solution might be to simply link to your secure form on jotform domain. Then the form will be secure. But, if you need to embed the form on your site, yes, you have to have secure certificate on it.
