Why countries and not US states in the ready-made address field?

Why countries and not US states in the ready-made address field?
I know you have given some answers on how to do it, but it seems so strange that you have bothered with the countries instead of for US-people, the states.

It sure would help.I have several collapsable forms on a page, and the poor person taht fills out has to choose United States all the time from a dro-down menu, and fill out CA in the state, non-dropdown menu.

The long way seems very complicated and I am always concerned about screwing up the whole form.

Hello KennethPersson.  JotForm is being used worldwide, and having just a dropdown for the states and provinces of the world will be quite a load on the form.

What I can suggest is that you can get the HTML source code of your form and place it on your web page.  Next, modify the text box of the state field and replace it with a dropdown box.

We can also help and provide you the proper code if you'd consider this suggestion to better guide you to have your form placed on your web page successfully.

Please do let us know if you need assistance.
