- mburgisAsked on November 22, 2017 at 02:56 PMBefore I can switch to JotForms, I'm being asked (translate grilled) about security. We will want to use both credit cards and ACH from banks. Under JotForm support, I found a lot about using the European security, however neither the website nor the people completing the forms will be European - they are all in the US. Can you direct me to somewhere on the website that will explain in detail the US security so I can appease my clients that using JotForms is safe?

We are PCI DSS Level 2 Compliant Service Provider, it means that it is safe to use our payment integration to process/authorize credit card payments.
We are also Safe habour certified which defines a method for transferring personal information from the EU to companies in the United States: https://www.jotform.com/blog/140-Announcing-JotForm-s-Safe-Harbor-Certification
In addition we allow users to process payment through SSL: https://www.jotform.com/help/63-How-Do-I-Receive-SSL-Submissions
We also support encryption of form submissions that helps users to add a second layer of security in their form: https://www.jotform.com/blog/162-Introducing-Encrypted-Forms-The-Ultimate-in-Online-Form-Security
