If I upgrade during Black Friday, how do the limits for the different subscription levels work? Are these monthly limits on submissions and payments, or term limits (like the 1 year I meed to purchase), or cumulative limits over my use of the system?

The submissions, payments, and form views are monthly limits. It resets every first day of the month. If you have 1,000 submissions for the month of November, it will go back to 0 on December 1, 2017.
The storage space, number of forms and sub-users are not monthly. You need to delete them in order to add a new one. For example, you have 25 forms, you cannot create another one unless you delete or archive 1 form.
