How can I set up conditions to skip to certain pages?

so the form i'm working on has 18 pages...

i want to be able to skip from one page to another and vice versa...

i created a dropdown that lists all 18 pages on page 1. i followed the steps by creating the Conditions for each selection.

    which works fine...

but on page two i created the same dropdown, but since i have 2 dropdowns now on 2 separate pages, when i change the conditions for the 2nd dropdown on page 2, it changes the properties for the first dropdown on page 1...

for example, the first dropdown is labled, item# 13 on page one...with 18 conditions (one for each page)...

on page two the dropdown is labeled, item#26 ..again with 18 conditions...

for the 1st page dropdown, i select item#13 and set all 18 conditions...

when i to to the 2nd page dropdown and change that to item#26 to give it the 18 conditions,

page 1 dropdown now shows that it is item #26 rather than item #13, so now the drop down for page 2 works but not for page 1...

    what am i doing wrong?

    thank you

I have been checking the conditions on your form and noticed there are conditions related to two fields, conditions 12 and 13 are related to the drop down on your second page:

Now, please note  that while setting up the conditions you can see which of the fields will trigger the conditions, no matter if they have the same name:

I have set up a condition to skip to page 1 on the second page, the condition at the beginning is related to the drop down on the second page and the condition at the very bottom is related to the drop down on the first page:

This is how that will work:

To see which conditions are related to one field you may follow any of the two options below:

    1. Click on field and conditions icon:

    2. Go to the conditions wizard and select the desired field on the drop down:

I would recommend you to set up the conditions  for one field only and then set up the conditions for the second drop down, if you keep experiencing problems, please let us know.

Also, here is my testing form so you can see how it works: https://form.jotform.com/73305799267974

    Looking forward to your response.

    hi there...

so if i understand you correctly,

the "Setting" tab at the top is universal and not specific to an item...

thus for 18 pages and wanting to switch back and forth...i'll need 324 conditions...

in another words, my "13. select page #" will have 18 conditions, "26. select page #" will have another set of 18 conditions, etc.

    is this correct?

     thank you

Yes, if you go to Settings -> Conditions you will see the list of conditions for all your fields, although you can filter them as explained above.

in another words, my "13. select page #" will have 18 conditions, "26. select page #" will have another set of 18 conditions, etc.

That is correct, if you add a drop down per page, then you will need to add 18 additional conditions.

I would recommend you to give a try to the form tabs widget since it will allow your users to navigate through the pages: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/form_tabs

This guide will help you adding the widget to your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-Your-Form

    I hope this helps.
