I have selected the email verification but nothing ever is sent. I checked with the web host and he doesn't even see anything either.

When I check the logs, it seems the verification email has been sent successfully.
Would you please check your spam folder? If our emails in your spam folder, please mark them as not spam.
Also, whitelisting Jotform IP addresses can be helpful for you:

I checked spam and junk and it does not show. The only email that I received from jotform was the black friday special. Any ideas?
