How to reset dropdown field to default upon submission?

Hello, is there a way to reset a particular drop-down field to default upon submission? 

We have 2 groups of people (sales reps & customers) accessing the same form. And we only want them to access their relevant sections.

The sales rep will select "sales rep" from the drop-down, enter a "passcode" to show their section. 

We would like this dropdown to reset upon submission so when the customer accesses the form, they will need to select "customer" from the drop-down.

If the customer is accessing the form by using the form URL https://form.jotform.co/72638236637868 then that will actually happen when they open the form each time.

On the other hand, if they are accessing the form by using the edit submission link, like you provided, https://www.jotform.com/edit/3878103785989123442, you can add Get form page URL widget:

And create a condition that will clear the drop-down field:

Hi Nik_C, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I can't get it to work. 

I've added 2 conditions to clear the "Who are you?" dropdown field and the "Rep Code" text field.

When I click on "Edit Submissions", both fields are still populated. 

What am I doing wrong?

My apologies, I overlooked the fact that the submission is actually editing, meaning, the drop-down field as well. So the data that was inputted previously in drop-down will remain and override the data we tried to prefill with conditional logic. 

So I'm afraid that it is not possible to do that, to clear the fields inputted on edit submission since it is contradictory to edit submission feature.
