Can you personalize a confirmation email with the person's name so it looks like this:

If Suzie Jones registered....

Dear Suzie,

Thank you for registering.

Please let me know if this is possible!

Yes,you can use Autoresponder and edit the email content.

Autoresponder ,sends email to the person who fills your form.

Here is a guide on how to setup a Autoresponder: Autoresponder-Email

You just need to go to Settings > Emails then click the + plus button and  select AUTORESPONDER EMAIL

Scroll down to the Email Content where you can now edit the position and text of the confirmation email.
