Hi
When configuring the Auto responder to one of the forms I am working with, I had attached a word document. But the document on reaching the users inbox, just becomes a blank word document. I cant have it carry any contents. Essentially these are sample formats that I am sending and therefore needs to be editable and can't be pdf.
Please help. We need to send this form out ASAP.

I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this is causing you. I tried to make some test on my end and I wasn't able to reproduce the issue you are having. I have uploaded a .doc file in the email autoresponder of my test form and I was able to receive it with its content.

You can try to submit it with your correct email address to receive the email notification.
Perhaps we can try the document that you are trying to send. Can you share with us the form that you are working on, please? As for the .doc file, you can upload it to any website that offers file hosting (Like Google Drive or Dropbox). Provide us the share link to that file and make sure that the file is set to public. I have set this thread to private so that you and the support team will only have access to it.

I still have the same problem. Also with pdf. It is not just word. Could it have anything to do with our security policy? The attached document

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.
I did test your form and I am able to replicate the issue you are having. When I submitted from, the word document which was attached in the autoresponder email seems to be blank. Please check the screenshot below:
Are you sure that you have attached correct word document file in your form's auto-responder email alert? I would suggest you to please remove the file and add it again and see if that solves your problem.
Do get back to us if the issue persists.

I have tried it at my pc at home with no antivirus and on other machines. I have done it several times, renamed the file, picked the file from a different destination all with the same results.
Also, I tried transferring the file to my android phone and logged into jotform on chrome and removed the existing attachment and tried to pick it from the downloads list, I just can’t seem to find it. It (.doc file) seems to be unsupported for upload on android for whatever reason.
I have attached both the files, the 25 kb file is the original and the other one is the Auto responder attachment. It cannot be previwed.
Is there a telephone number I can get in touch with you on??

Unfortunately we do not provide support over phone.
I am not sure what is causing this issue in your form. I cloned your form and configured auto-responder to send word document as attachment. It seems to work as expected and I am not able to replicate the issue. Please check the screenshot below:

You cloned that form..but could you attach the word document I wanted to attach in the first place. I had sent you those as attachments with my previous mail..the one that's some 20 or so kB is the file.

This forum does not accept attachments, but you can send us the files to support@jotform.com so we can test with them in order to find if we can replicate the issue and find what may be causing it.
Please do not forget to include this thread number in the subject "1313171".
