Grid Report: Ability to merge headers and data

    Hi Jotform team,

I'm looking to create a grid report whose headers are different from the default.  Would it be possible to enable the user to rename/concatenate fields when generating reports such as grid, excel, csv, html?

For example, I would like to have one field Name, another renamed as Father's Name, and another Mother's Name.  I'd also like to concatenate Ethnicity: Not Hispanic/Latino and the untitled field next to it: Asian into one combined column in my report.

As another example, I prefer the way the Address field is displayed all in one column in the grid report to the html/excel/csv report.  Better yet, if I can choose to edit the City/State/Zip Code labels in the reported field.

Also, the password reverts to "true" each time I edit the report, which forces me to change my password if I forget it.

Unfortunately, this is not possible to set the custom headings/labels in reports. This is also not possible to split the data into multiple columns. The headers depend on the form field labels.

The password protection issue will be addressed via the next thread:

    Thank you.

Hi Mike, would it be possible to add my suggestion as a feature request?

I'm foreseeing in the Edit report window, an additional column for creating an (optional) alias for each field.  The aliases would be used only as headings in the exported spreadsheet report.  What do you think?

    Hi Wei,

I will forward your feature request to our developers. Once this is added in the future, we will contact you again on this thread.

    Thank you.
