    Field matching with Mailchimp

    Hi,

    I am currently testing Jotform and so far it is going ok but a few issues have arisen, most important right now is that the field matching with Mailchimp seems to be faulty. For example in my form I have First Name and Last Name, in Mailchimp I also have these fields - however the field matching process is giving me a supposed Mailchimp field called Fullname which doesn't actually exist in my Mailchimp list.

    Also my Jotform form has a drop-down box, it does not appear in the field matching so I cannot match it to the appropriate field in my Mailchimp list.

    I have given the link of the Jotform form below and attached a screen grab of the process.

    Also I have just noticed that for some reason Jotform did not save my Mailchimp integration setup.

    Let me please inform you that our MailChimp integration is based on two fields only,Full Name (combined field on our form builder - includes First and Last Names) and Email Address. You can use as much fields as you want, however, only the mentioned above fields (variables) will be sent to your MailChimp based mailing list.

    We have also added multiple fields MailChimp integration to our feature request list, and it will be implemented after some time.

    Thanks Eduardo, transferring the full details to Mailchimp is a key requirement for us - we can work-around by exporting from Jotform to CSV and importing but it is not the step forward we are looking for.

    I have done some more reseacrh and I see that the integration of a custom field is a feature that was recetly added.  I apologize for the prior comment and will look further into your issue.  Thanks for your patience

    I was able to map the field of my test form without any problems.

    I first needed to create a list with the desired fields on Mailchimp. 

    I then created a form with similar fields.  I went through the integration wizard and matched the fields of my form to the ones on the list that I had created on MailChimp.  Of course, the field properties need to match the ones on the MailChimp list.

    Is this what you are currently doing? Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

    Yes this is very similar - however as you can see in your example the Jotform Wizard mentions FullName which is not a field in either the Jotform form or Mailchimp list. 

    Also one of my other Jotform field which was a drop-down box for region selection did not appear at all in the field matching Wizard.

    You can change your First Name and Last Name fields on your form to be a Full Name field  (1 field in stead of two) and that will map to MailChimp's Fullname on the integration wizard.

    Unfortunately, I was not able to integrate the drop-down field.

    To ensure consistency with existing records and to provide suitable personalization in emails we would not want to have Fullname.

    I hope this is and the drop-down fields are something that will be supported int he future.
