How do I submit a form when using PayPal Optimization?

    Hi,

I've created a form that allows customers to select products. At the end of the form, they have the option to pay via PayPal and I would like it to take them immediately to the PayPal site upon submission of their form so that they can pay immediately.

However, I would also like the Submit button to continue its original function (of emailing a copy of the form entry to me and to the customer). With the PayPal option set up, I do achieve my goal of allowing them to pay immediately upon submission, which is great!

However, the Submit button on the form says, "Please wait..." and it does not send any emails. I haven't tried out the PayPal button officially, but based on your knowledge, will the form submit as it usually does, upon payment? I'd still like to receive an email with a summary of the form entry.

When the PayPal payment option is selected your users will be redirected to the PayPal checkout page when they submit the form. After they make a payment they will be redirected to the Thank You page and you will receive the payment on your PayPal account and the Email Notification will be sent. I tested your form and I was redirected to the PayPal checkout page when I selected the PayPal option and submitted the form.

My submission will be marked as Incomplete Payment because I did not make a payment.

I would suggest you to test your form:

I would also like to mention that you can pass the calculation to your payment field so that users do not have to enter the amount on their own.

Thanks! I passed the Calculation to the Payment Field and it worked
    perfectly.
What I want to know is, will I get an email of the products* selected*, as
I usually do when I click Submit (before I added a PayPal option)?
I don't want them to pay for the products and I don't know what exactly
they paid for because I didn't get a confirmation email upon submission.
All the submit button seemed to do was bring them to PayPal to pay, and
    that's it.

You will receive an email Notification with selected products, but only when the users pay on the PayPal checkout page. You will also be able to see selected products on the submission page of your form. I checked the submissions of your form and you did not receive any payment. You also have 7 incomplete payments (1 of them is my test submission). Incomplete Payments are abandoned payments. Meaning, the user might have closed the browser or abandon it after they are redirected to the Paypal's checkout page.

More about incomplete payments you can find inside of this guides:

If you want to receive the email for incomplete payments you have to setup Incomplete Payment Notification Email inside. Inside of this guide, you can find how to do it:
