Opening image links in Dropbox pdf report

Asked by Albert on September 21, 2012 at 12:42 AM

If the image uploaded in the form is sent to the dropbox, how come when I click on the image hyperlink, it directs me to a copy of the image hosted on the jotform servers?  Anyway I could link those to the images in the dropbox?

Awesome service by the way! I am testing it out right now and so far so good, just need to check some features and will be getting a paid account.

Thank you for your kind remark, Albert.

Regarding your question: The PDF reports you received from Dropbox are generated based on the submitted data from the submissions page of your form.  To be able to download the attached files from the submissions page or from your email, the only way to get them is to get the download link to JotForm's servers. This same report generating process is reflected on the PDF files.

The PDF files are also not editable so there is no way to change the source reference of the links.

Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.

    Thanks.
