After years of surveymonkey and wufoo, I am so happy to find jotform. Fantastic!

Can I have a field with a custom list of auto-complete strings (not a normal English dictionary)?

Students will enter the name of their college. We need to avoid some writing “NYU” and some writing “New York University.” There are about 5k colleges, so we would need to upload a long list. I saw this widget, https://widgets.jotform.com/app/autojs, but it is not clear if that will do what we need--or how to do it.

    Thanks!

You could try using "Auto Complete" widget. I am not sure if having 5000 entries/list will work without any problem such as slow load times or browser crashing, but you are free to try it first.

Let us know if you encounter issue with the widget so we can provide a workaround for this.
