    Hello,

I made a PDF document with a list of products and pricing in Adobe.  I made the form fillable, with drop down options where the number of products that would be purchased was calculated.  Unfortunately, Adobe's submit button is not reliable.  The recipient must use the Adobe PDF viewer and it only works in certain browsers.  Since this is not reliable, I was looking into your products.  It seems that you might have what I need, but when I submitted my document, I received a message that said it could not be converted.

Question 1: How do I need to build my original PDF so that your software will accept it?

Question 2: Will I have the option of inserting drop down menus?

Question 3: Will your form work for all browsers and email providers?

    Thank you.

Question 1: How do I need to build my original PDF so that your software will accept it?

Please check this guide for more information on what field elements are supported and also some of the FAQs regarding Fillable PDF's

Question 2: Will I have the option of inserting drop down menus?

Yes it is supported in our PDF Creator.

Question 3: Will your form work for all browsers and email providers?

This is answered on the link I shared in Question 1.

Q8: Can I Open My Fillable PDF in a Browser to Fill It out and Submit? | TOP ↑

If the form is going to be opened in a browser we would always suggest using webform since everything will work in its fullest and all design, conditions and widgets will be available to make your form stand out from plain and people submitting it will enjoy. On the other hand, the fillable PDF will be shown in your browser, but you will not be able to fill it out. This is due to the fact that browsers are using the smallest amount of code possible to quickly load and show PDF and do not have all the features Adobe Reader, Adobe Acrobat or Foxit have.

If you still can't generate your uploaded PDF, you can re-create inside your Jotform account
    https://www.jotform.com/help/212-How-to-Create-a-PDF-Form

Please also share the PDF form you wanted to generate into a fillable one so we can check it further and help you re-create it, you can upload it on Dropbox , Google drive or any File Sharing website and share with us the download link.

    Hope that helps.
