    hi there

do you support name-value pairs being submitted to merge-fields inside of forms or elements other than emajl fields?

I want to send forms to suppliers with information on them but I do not want them to change the underlying data in the contact fields

    thanks

Apologies for any challenges you are facing. Would you kindly elaborate further and probably with example on what you mean by "do you support name-value pairs being submitted to merge-fields inside of forms or elements other than email fields? "

Do you mean to have combined field of for instance having both First Name and Last name in one field? This is possible by use of Fullname field which combines both First and Last names into on field.

    Hi thanks for writing
I guess I do not want to use fields in the forms - I just want to send data to merge fields in the form so they appear as text and not fields where they can be manipulated

Just to clarify, is it the Infusionsoft where you want to send the data? And from there, you want those data to be merged into your infusion email or paragraph? Is this what you're trying to achieve?

Basically, in order to pass the form data to any 3rd party apps like Infusionsoft, it would require integration. So first, you will have to integrate your form with Infusionsoft. It is available in the Integrations.

So when the form is submitted, the form data will be sent to your Infusionsoft account. Then from there, you should be able to pipe the fields into your email or the paragraph snippet you mentioned.

Piping fields into the text element is also possible with JotForm https://www.jotform.com/help/418-Pass-an-Input-Field-to-a-Text-Field.

If I have misunderstood your question, please let us know.

Hi again --- it's the opposite.
The data is already in infusionsoft - I want to send the data to a webform where a third party uses that data in a read-only format to enter new data into some fields which would update those particular fields in infusionsoft.
Infusionsoft does not support merge fields in their webforms so I am trying to find out if Jot does

To my understanding, you want to transfer the data that is already in Infusionsoft to the form.

Unfortunately, we do not have a tool or widget for that. However, if you can transfer the data to Excel you can try the Spreadsheet to Form widget. For more information, please visit the link below:

I hope this information helps. Let us know if you have questions.
