Line Checkbox widget: How to allow only one option to be selected?

 Is it possible to make only one option valid for the widget line checkbox?

I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly. Do you mean to say that you want your users to be able to select only one option in "Line Checkbox" widget?

Unfortunately no. It is not possible to configure line checkbox to allow users to select only one option.

Thank's for your answer that's unfortunately what I meant. Could I then ask you if there is a another widget I can use for that purpose? If the only one in question is the one called "single choice" from the basic options, could you give a hint of what to do/ a css code to make it act more like "Line Checkbox"?

Whatever your response may be, I have to say that I never ever experienced such support given from you (jotform team). And that was meant to be in the most positive way.

If your requirement is to just allow users to be able to select only one option from the list, I would suggest you to please take a look at our "Line Radio Buttons" widget and see if that fits into your requirement. 

Please note that Line Radio button widget will give you exact same look and feel as Line Checkbox but user will be able to select only one option.
