    URGENT: 404 Not Found nginx/1.0.8 ERROR

    Dear support team,

    We have a big problem with all our client fan pages:

     

    All the tabs on Facebook created with JotForm are showing an ERROR message: URGENT: 404 Not Found nginx/1.0.8

    For example check:

    Please help!!!

    Sorry for the inconvenience that may have caused. Regarding on this issue, could you please try to re-embed your form code into your website using this method: http://www.jotform.com/help/123-Adding-forms-to-Facebook-Facebook-Developer-Method-

    @democlouds,

    We would like to help you with changing the embed method of your forms.  However, as you can understand, it is beyond our limits to log into your account and make the changes ourselfs.  It would be too risky for both, you as the owner of the accounts and our team. 

    As per fixing the issue, it may be due to the use of a deprecated method of embedign forms on FB.  We have seen cases where with the new time-line feature of FB the shared forms show the same error that you have mentioned.  We have contacted FB to inquire about the issue without having a resolution to the bug on their end.  

    This is why we encourage you to use the other methods on your forms:

    With the number of forms that would need to be re-embeded I suggest that you try one or two and see which method best suits your needs before following through with the rest of the forms.

    - it used to work perfectly for many months until a few days ago!

    Hi,

    I did some test on my end and I found that if your Facebook account "Secure Browsing" is Enabled, this error comes. But when you disable Secure Browsing you will not encounter this problem.

    So, base on my knowledge on creating Facebook Apps, this error will occur if your Canvass URL and Secure Page Tab URL is not HTTPS:// , so I would suggest to please check those if you have them entered correctly.

    Hello aytekin, and good to see the jotform cofounder answering us

    the URL works fine however on facebook it doesn't  , i think it is Ecafe Food Menu , we tried to open its tab on FB but the same problem always

    We need a solution for this as soon as possible

    We will try to investigate this further while we are not completely certain what causes the problem. An alternative solution is to re-embed your forms using Static HTML app. Please follow this tutorial to learn more: http://www.jotform.com/help/22-Adding-Form-to-Facebook. This should help.

    Hello. After doing numerous tests, here's the solution:

    Please change your Page Tab details to the following:

    Page Tab URL:  https://www.jotform.com/form/12421942859

    Secure Page Tab URL: https://secure.jotform.com/form/12421942859

    Note: make sure you do not have the slash (/) at the end of the URL.  The forward slashes are only requred for the App on Facebook Canvas and Secure Canvas URLs.

    when we created the tabs we made sure to remove the slash from all the page tab, must be some other issue

    Could not paste the screenshot here for some reason..

    But I just removed the "/" as advised and I still get an error message on my Facebook form

    Please take note of the underlined.  Originally it's www.jotform.com according to your 1st screenshot.

    You can try uploading the screenshot on this form for the meantime, and then get the URL and embed it here by clicking the tree icon and paste the link in the pop-up window (on the Image URL field).

    You can also just send it via email and I'll check the attachment.
