Getting users to confirm submission

    Hi

We created this form for students to list items for sale on our site:

    https://www.jotform.com/build/73577684784174

We want to send them an email and have them confirm their listing, so we know they provided a real email address.

I figured out how to do auto-responders. That works fine.

I have a message at the bottom of the form, which says:

"We will email a confirmation. Your listing will go live within 12 hours after you confirm."

However, I cannot actually figure out how to do that. We want the autoresponder to have a link that they have to click to confirm receipt of the email (and of their listing), and their doing so should add a 'yes' to a field called 'Confirmed' in the submission (which would also appear when we download a CSV of submissions).

    How do we do that?

    Thanks!
    Robert

If you want to make sure that your users provided their correct email address, you can add E-mail Validator widget to your form.

Another way is to send them the edit link of their submission via an Autoresponder email. You can set a conditional logic on the form to show an additional confirmation field (checkbox field) when the submission is edited, that they will have to check. You can check how to create an approval form inside of this guide:
