Cannot customize PDF submissions

    Hello,

I have a number of form responses that I am trying to customize.  A few saved correctly, and I was able to create pdfs.  However, now when I try to "customize" the remaining form responses, the form goes to a previously saved form response instead of the form response I am trying to customize.  I'm not sure what to do.

    Thank you for your help.

    Best,
    Michelle

If I understand you correctly, you are trying to Edit the Form Submissions.

Here is a guide on How to Edit Submissions Made on Your Forms

Did you click Submit before trying to save as PDF?

If that guide doesn't help, can you please give us the link to the form?

    Hello,
Thank you for such a quick response.
I am clicking the "pdf" button at the top of the page, then "customize pdf." When I click "customize pdf," the same form response from Tom Haugen comes up each time. Instead, it should be whoever was the person who submitted the form. (Yes, I am trying to edit the form response, but not through editing the form submissions.)
Here is the link to the form, however, it is not the form I am having trouble with, just the responses: https://form.jotform.com/62635165811152
If you click this link, you should be able to recreate the trouble I am having: https://www.jotform.com/submissions/62635165811152
    Thank you again!
    Best,
    Michelle

    Hello Michelle,

The PDF Designer (Customization) is valid for all submissions (responses) in that form. So if you customize the PDF for one submission, it will take effect in all the other submissions (responses).

It shows the most recent submission when you customize it, that's why you always get Tom Haugen each time.

    Hi again,
I was able to save 7 others earlier today after "customizing" the pdf (see attached.) that are all different. Is there a reason I was able to do this before, but not now?
    Thanks again.
    Best,
    Michelle

Unfortunately we are not able to see the screenshot you have attached. Can you please post it again following this guide https://www.jotform.com/help/438-How-to-Post-Screenshots-to-Our-Support-Forum

Customizing the PDF should only be done once, the purpose for customizing PDF is to have the same PDF format for all the submissions. Meaning you don't need to change it one by one.

Here is the guide regarding editing PDF submission report https://www.jotform.com/help/384-How-to-Customize-PDF-Submissions-Report

Let us know if you need further help.

    I understand now, thank you.
I do have one more question. Each time I try to download a submission, some of the text appears much smaller for some of the questions than others. All text size should be the same-it's set-up that way in the form. How can I fix this?
    Thanks so much!
    Best,
    Michelle

    Hello Michele,

If it is not too much work for you, can you please try and Reset the PDF Design in the PDF Designer (Customizer).

    Hi Adrian,
Yes, not a problem. Unfortunately the text is still not all the same size:

    Hello Michelle,

Please make sure you click Save after Resetting the form. Also, try logging out and then logging in or clear your browser cache.

The text in the PDF files should be the same size after you reset the designer.

Let me know if the issue persists.
