Create an email template manager.

Hello! We have a ton of forms and many email autoresponders. If we need to change the autoresponder email, it must be done manually for each individual form. Insane.

We need to be able to create a set of email templates for our account. That would allow us to select a shared template for each form and update it in one place if we need. That would also give us the ability to have autoresponder emails that are uniform.

    Does this exist already?

    Thanks,

    Ryan

I'm afraid that there is no such option.

The closest you can do is to do one Autoresponder in one form and copy the source code of it and paste to another (or multiple) Autoresponder(s).

The issue here is that it is a bit of work to make that work since you will have to have the same forms between which you will exchange the Autoresponder design. Also, field names will not be the same so that will have to be manually adjusted. For example:

Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you!

Nik, thanks for the answer. I'd like to submit that as a feature request. I'd love to provide some additional insight if your team is interested in this feature. Thanks!

Can you please provide all the information you can on this feature, so we can give a full description to our developers. If this can be achieved you will be notified on this thread as soon as possible.

We will be waiting for your reply. Thank you!

Ardian - I can try to add some more details about what I would like. As far as the kind of complete description your developers need, I expect they would be able to add layers of thought behind the actual functionality. Here is an SBAR to clarify:

    Situation:

I have a lot of forms that use Autoresponder Emails. It is incredible difficult to keep these emails identical and consistent, especially when the template needs to be changed manually  for each individual form. Because there is no way to update a global email template, I cannot easily keep my branding consistent among a hundred or so form emails.

    Background:

In the past, I have tried to standardize the autoresponder emails, but it generally is not possible long term without an email template manager. This does not exist in JotForm.

    Assessment:

When users create an autoresponder email, they would be best served to either choose to create a new email template (a one-off) -OR- to select an account-level template (one of the email templates saved at their global account level).

    Recommendation:

If the look and feel of the contact form is the top priority, autoresponder emails should be a close second. (They are our first contact back to the client.) JotForm should create an "Email Templates"* section in the user account to create custom email templates. These templates could be used across any form created in their account. When the email template is updated, the updated template will be used on any email autoresponder that uses that specific template. This would ensure consistency and brand unity for your users.

*This would also be a useful revenue generating difference to upsell higher-level subscriptions.

Please let me know if I can brainstorm with you and test out new developments.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

I have submitted your feature request to our back-end team. Unfortunately, there is no estimated time-frame for a resolution. If there is any progress in the future with your request, you will be notified via this thread.
