My assistant established an account and we have made forms under it. We paid the annual fee. We thought we set up a way for me to access the account under my own credentials but when I sign in, it appears I am under a different account and I only get to utilize the forms as "shared" files that my assistant made. I would like to be able to get in to the main account, that has been paid, to create and work with forms.

You can create sub-users from the main account. Please follow the url below on how to share forms with a sub-user account.
