We've tried this and everything saved except the files we ask people to attach. We've tried firefox, chrome, and safari, whenever we leave the pages, everything saved, except files. Can you let us know how to solve it?

I'm afraid its not possible to auto-fill upload fields, this is because it is assumed that a different file needs to be uploaded each time. You may want to refer to the link below for another method of saving progress on your form: How-to-Save-Forms-and-Continue-Later
