Information is not passing through to Mailchimp upon submitting

My integration with mailchimp worked until Dec 27, 2017 when I stopped getting new submissions in MailChimp. I've checked the integration and everything in jotform says it is working properly but I'm still missing this week's submissions on mailchimp. Any ideas?

I checked your form and I was able to replicate this problem.

I forwarded this thread to our backend team for further checking, we will notify you further through this thread.

    Thank you!

I checked our logs and found out that the issue is caused by the encryption on your form, but the errors stopped January 7th.

Did you recently disable encryption for your form?

Yes.  I had to disable it because otherwise it would not work.  Now I have a mix of encrypted and unencrypted submissions and that makes it difficult when downloading csvs etc.

    Hi there,

The issue is indeed caused by encryption. Data entered by your users will be encrypted prior to having them submitted to our servers. Only you can and will have access to this data (through the private key file).

Thus, JotForm is not able to send the expected data to MailChimp (email and full name, for example).

With that said, unfortunately, there isn't an immediate solution for now except disabling encryption.

We'll keep you posted if and when our engineers come up with a permanent solution.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

As my colleague stated, in encrypted forms, we were unable to read your submissions, therefore we can not notify third-party services. We shouldn't be actually, otherwise, we can not keep the promise on encrypted forms.

What missing is, we should have warned you before enabling this feature. I'll forward this to our UI designers.

    Thank you for your report.
