    Hi.

I am using Jotform to collect work order information from my installers.

    The purpose is

    a) to know what to pay my installers

    b) to know what the customer owes us

This requires two different values to calculate for each work item chosen from a multiple choice drop down menu of 20 or so items

What is the simplest way to achieve this please?

I am not sure if I understand your query correctly. Do you mean to perform a calculation based on the items selected from a drop down? If so, it is possible to assign calculation values to the drop down and perform calculation using Form calculation widget. Please refer to the guides that can help you with achieving this.

    https://www.jotform.com/help/301-How-to-Assign-Calculation-Value

    https://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-Perform-Form-Calculation-Using-a-Widget

Hope this information helps! If you are referring to something different, please provide us with an example that you want to achieve so that we can further assist you.

    Thanks!

I am trying to assign two seperate values for each item selected (i.e retail / wholesale) to be calculated into two separate fields

This is very much possible using Calculations. Please check also my demo form https://form.jotform.com/80065829741966

    Jonathan,

I see your demo but this is not what I mean.

The person filling the form is not choosing retail or wholesale.

They are choosing products from a drop down list. (I.e. Sweater, pants, hat etc.)

each item has two separate values.

A retail value and a wholesale value.

The person filling the form only selects the items.

I need to calculate the retail values of the items selected and the wholesale values of the items selected.

I understand that you want to enable the user to select the products and to calculate the retail and wholesale values of the products separately. Is that correct? Unfortunately, it is not possible to assign two calculation values for an item. It is required to have separate fields for different calculations. However, it may be possible to achieve you requirement by copying the field values to another. Let me run few tests and see what best we can do in this regard.

    Thank you!
