    Excel does not recognize this file format

    I am trying to integrate to an Excel file from my form.  When I go to open up the file, I get the "Excel does not recognize this file format."

    When I open up the file, there is just a bunch of letters, symbols and numbers.

     

    can you help?

    Hi,

     

    We are sorry for the inconveniences caused.

    We have a little problem with the Excel reports generated from Submissions page, that problem has already been escalated to our Development Team and will be fixed in the nearest time.

    In the meantime, please try to use your Separate Excel Reports. These reports are supposed to work fine.

    Excel is now working.  Thank you!  I love this forum.  

    Now I have another question, when I submit the form, will it update the excel file automatically like google docs (drive) does?

    To answer your question -

    The answer to this is ' Yes ' as long as it is integrated with your form depending on which forms you have setup with this, your google docs spreadsheet (excel file) will automatically recieve and update the list via from submissions that were sent to you.
