Most users adapt and design their forms according to their website design. However, JoForm Cards don't allow that same level of customization compared with JotForm Classic. The purpose of the SMART EMBED option is to make the form automatically adapt according to the user's website without any need to make changes on the form. Here are the basic properties of the SMART EMBED feature as of now:
🔘 Button colors, header fonts, buttons' border radius will be adapted according to styles of the related website.
🔘 Form background color will become transparent.
🔘 If there is a page background image on the form, it remains on embedded form as well.
🔘 If the form header exists somewhere on the user's website, the header will be removed on the embedded form automatically.
🔘 Cards that have greater height such as the address field, payment field, etc. will automatically hide the headers and progress bar.
To sum it up, it's an adaptive way of embedding forms without much user intervention.
If you need to control everything, design-wise, then it's best if you use JotForm Classic as opposed to using JotForm Cards.
