Date Picker Field: Date was selected even when it was disabled.

    The form on this page seems to have a bug. Some customers have been able to make reservations even on days that have been disabled. Can you help us figure out how these orders are getting through the system?

    When we test it with the wrong date we get error message:

    This date is unavailable.

    An order came through late last night (Ethan L) with a disabled date.

    Am I correct in asking if your problem was occurring with the date reservation widget right?

    Do you still require help here?

    I see on your site that you are using regular date fields. But there is a problem here too:

    1515620051Rental Equipment - Footloose S

    Here the return date is before the date of rental pick up. You can disable previous dates in the date field properties (gear icon)

    Nope, that's not the issue.

    The issue is that the Rental Pick Up dates have been disabled for a certain time period, but a reservation still came through on that date.

    This order was made:

    Submission Date

    2018-01-10 02:16:44

    Date of Rental Pick Up

    Time of Rental Pick Up

    5:00 PM

    Date of Rental Return

    calendar.png Monday, January 15, 2018


    I tried duplicating the order fields, but I get this message:



    Any ideas on how the customer was able to submit the order?

    I can see on your form revision history that you have recently made some modifications to the "Date of Rental Pick Up" field, for example, if you remove the following: 

    Disable custom range: 2017-12-15>2018-01-16

    Disable custom dates: today+2

    You will be able to select "Friday, January 12, 2018" on your form, may be that the specific submission was sent right after you applied the change. 

    The form seems to be currently validating based on your current settings, if the problem happens again, please let us know so we can further investigate it.
