The slider starts at 0. I need it to start at 1. I'm asking people to rank some things on a scale of 1 to 10.
I COULD say rate it 0 to 9. But that's confusing for some people.

Hello sonofwatt. At the moment there is no option to start the scale of the slider above zero. However, you can have the option to start its default value to 1 by editing the slider's properties and adjusting the Default Value.
I also have made a request to include this feature. However there is no guarantee that this can be added anytime in the near future as the developers are extremely busy working with other projects that are already in the pipeline. But as soon as this feature is added, we'll sure to inform you.

Unfortunately I looked at that option, but it's not going to work for us.
Hope to see this capability soon!

I'll just go with radio buttons, in a 10 column spread. Do you know what CSS I'd use to reduce the distance between each radio button.
Also, is there a way to put the option text for each radio button below it? By default it's to the right of the radio button. I'd prefer it below or above.
EDIT: Broke my own rule and didn't google that question first.
Found the answer here. http://www.jotform.com/answers/93184-Radio-Button-Spacing
But still curious about the position of the text.

Just add <br /> tag after the number on the radio button options. Just like this:As a result: http://form.jotform.me/form/22733491983462?If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to let us know. Thanks!
