Page break: Selecting the page break element then clicking on other fields deletes the page break.

I have edited the text on all of the "Back" buttons to be more descriptive of what's on the previous page. Every time I come back to my form the text on the buttons has defaulted back to "Back".

I'm using the basic Page Break element to divide the pages of my form and used the Properties function to customize the Back Button Text field.

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

I've cloned your form and was able to change the "Back" button name from my end. Kindly try clearing your browser's cache and your form's cache then try again.

Let me know how it goes.

I can change the Back buttons all I want, but the changes do not save. I
have cleared by cache and also tried logging in via a completely different
browser. Every time, the changes I make do not save properly because they
revert to "Back" when I come back to the form later.

    Apologies for the ongoing issue.

I tried cloning your form and changing the "Back" button name and it works. Can you please send us a screencast using this tool https://screencast-o-matic.com/screen_recorder so we can see the steps you took on how you reproduce the issue.

    Here's my sample screencast https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cFV22toIkm.

    Looking forward for your response.

I would just like to update this thread that the issue was with the page break element. Deleting and adding back a new page element should fix the issue.

Please try it out and try renaming both the "Next" and "Back" button. Let us know if it still doesn't work.

    Thanks.

I deleted all of the page breaks and added them back in. I renamed the back
button on all the page breaks and there is still the issue with the back
    button text defaulting to "Back".

Please try cloning your form and check if the issue still persists. Here's a guide on how to clone your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

Also, please try using a different internet browser when editing the text of the Back button. You can also use the Incognito Mode if you're using Google Chrome by following this guide: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95464?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en

Let us know how it goes. Thank you.

    Hi Patricia,

I did test your form on my end and I was able to change the text of the back button, but I reverted it.

Did you try my colleague's suggestions? How about clearing your browser's cache?

I've been able to change the back button text many times in the past. When
I exit the form and come back to it later, the text reverts to Back.
I haven't had a chance to try the cloning suggestion yet. Unfortunately, I
had to go live with the form, so I won't be able to replace it with a
    cloned/fixed form now.

We can instead change the Back button text for you if you wish—just let us know the exact text for each button.
